Great Chefs of St. Augustine returns for its third year, May 25, 6 PM at its new location, The River House. Dinners should come hungry as eight chefs from top restaurants go head-to-head in this culinary competition.
Catholic Charities of St. Augustine is the beneficiary of this year’s event. The nonprofit offers emergency assistance including rent, utilities, deposits, holiday assistance, case management and food. Those who receive these services include families, individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, persons with disabilities or chronic illness, victims of violence and emergency situations. Food is provided to people that cannot afford to purchase enough food to adequately meet their nutritional needs.
100% of the proceeds from Great Chefs of St. Augustine will go directly to the purchase of food for their Weekend Hunger Backpack Program and Back Roads Program. Both these programs provide nutritional food to the children and families in our community.
This year’s location will be The River House. For more information on the venue, click here.
